Where to go next?

I have nothing but good things to say about the LA Times travel section. They always have something fun (and affordable) to offer. The deals blog has sparked many of our weekend getaway trips. Currently, they are featuring an article called "188 Road Trips in the West" which is just a breading ground for great summer/fall trips in the area. The article has some great ideas for those long holiday weekends (complete with family days for those of you in AFMC) as well as some options for shorter weekend trips.
